COPLAY ORGANIZATIONS Part 1.

I will attempt to list info on all organizations in Coplay of which I have knowledge and I will add any information provided to me by said groups.  (610-262-0802 or frankcdickman@gmail.com) Many of the groups have a specific month when they solicit operating funds from the public by using an insert in the Coplay Boro Newsletter.  But, all of the organizations will accept donations at anytime.   In addition, many conduct fundraisers throughout the year, such as; Hoagie and Pizza Sales, Breakfasts, Spaghetti Dinners, Longaberger Basket Bingo and most of the organizations have food and refreshment stands at Coplay Community Days in the Parkway, which has been held annually the last weekend in August. Normally, each organization provides the Coplay Community Days Committee with 25 percent of their profits, which is then used for various improvement programs in the community. On the day of the 4th of July Fireworks, the American Club of Coplay utilizes its' excellent parking facilities to raise funds, which they donate to the Fireworks Committee to assist in paying for the cost of the display which  totals $10,500.00. The Coplay Fire Department observes Fire Prevention Month in October, holds a raffle during the year and conduct a Coin Toss when authorized by Coplay Borough Council.
